Having been a musician most of his life, David has come to approach all styles of music with an open jazz like attitude. As a result, he approaches painting in a similar way. He drops in the groove, experiments, pushes limits at times, flies till he can't. Sometimes ideas fuel the groove, othertimes he improvises until an image or idea appears, then he rides ,with it. Only until he exhausts this method will he then go back and study what he's done in order to fix the piece or, in the rare case, leave it alone.
